Five of Vancouver's most exciting theatres conspire to bring "Judas" back to life! Halfway between Heaven and Hell, in a court room that's as much ghetto as gospel, the witnesses are called – Mother Teresa, Pontius Pilate, Sigmund Freud, a foul-mouthed Saint Monica, a college English teacher, a handful of Jesus' disciples – to decide enduring questions of forgiveness, mercy and eternal damnation. Wildly funny and scathingly provocative, this searing look at history's most infamous double-cross forces us to re-examine old truths and consider what it means to forgive. Based on the acclaimed 2009 staged reading by Pound of Flesh Theatre and Pacific Theatre.
